SME UNION is a nationwide non-profit association representing and supporting Czech SMEs. We connect entrepreneurs with public institutions, international partners, funding opportunities and practical knowledge.
Who we are
SME UNION — Unie malých a středních podniků ČR, z.s. — represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises in legislation, public debate and the media. We work directly with entrepreneurs and communicate their experience to ministries, public institutions and business organisations.
We are a registered non-profit association headquartered at Michnův Palace in Prague. Company ID (IČO): 27024687.

Advocacy & regulatory insight
We comment on draft legislation, communicate with public institutions and translate regulatory change into practical information for entrepreneurs.
Funding opportunities
Our Funding Radar monitors relevant calls and helps members identify opportunities suited to their business and plans.
AI Act & practical AI support
We prepare AI Act documentation for businesses and provide practical guidance and introductory AI consultations.
Academy & networking
The SME UNION Academy connects practical education, webinars, workshops, conferences and business networking.
International cooperation
Our international cooperation has included SME Europe, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and other European business organisations. We are currently strengthening these relationships and expanding our European activities.
We help foreign business associations and companies understand the Czech SME landscape, identify relevant contacts and develop joint projects, events and business missions.
